Jonathan Tiffoney will be realising a childhood dream when he runs out at Ibrox for Alloa Athletic this afternoon and admits he expects it to be an "extra special" experience.

As a youngster, Tiffoney was a Rangers season-ticket holder and he has fond memories of Ally McCoist and Mark Hateley terrorising defences at home and abroad.

However, the 23-year-old winger is determined to be the one providing the attacking menace in Govan today.

"Rangers are my boyhood heroes and I have never played at Ibrox before, so it will be extra special," said Tiffoney. "I went to the games every second Saturday in the Copland Road."

Tiffoney has already played against Rangers this term, scoring the goal which took the Clackmannanshire club to within six minutes of a historic SPFL Championship win back in September. However, David Templeton netted an 84th-minute equaliser to rescue a 1-1 draw for the Ibrox men.
