ISLAM FERUZ, the Scotland under-21 international striker, has joined Blackpool on-
loan for the rest of the season from Chelsea.
Former Celtic trainee Feruz, 19, recently completed a loan spell with OFI Crete.
He had been training with Cardiff City with a view to joining them in a loan deal. But Cardiff manager Russell Slade ended his interest in the teenager paving the way for him to join Blackpool.
Lee Clark, the Blackpool manager, said: "Islam is a very talented player with the potential to
excite the fans. He will offer something different to us going forward and I'm pleased that Chelsea
have allowed us to complete this deal."
