Dunfermline moved top on goal difference after staging a late fightback to claim a 2-2 draw at Falkirk.

Lyle Taylor put the home side in front with a low shot after good work from Kieran Duffie and scored his second goal after 57 minutes as Falkirk looked to be heading for their first home league win.

But Dunfermline stormed back with Andy Barrowman reducing the deficit after 79 minutes and substitute Ryan Thomson heading in the equaliser.

Steve May scored two late goals as Hamilton Academical took command of their derby at Airdrie United, running out 4-0 winners.

Hamilton should have been ahead by half-time but, from the moment Ali Crawford nabbed the opening goal after 67 minutes, the outcome was never in doubt.

Louis Longridge hit the second and May made it three before adding a fourth from the penalty spot.

Cowdenbeath snatched a 1-1 draw at Livingston, with substitue Lewis Milne coming up with a last-minute equaliser.

Colin Cameron's side had been reduced to ten men in the 55th minute as John Armstrong was shown a red card for a violent tackle on Frenchman Anthony Andreu.

Livingston then took the lead when an Iain Russell shot broke to Keaghan Jacobs and he scored with the aid of a deflection.

Dumbarton also left it late to salvage a point, only their second of the season, in a 2-2 draw at Raith Rovers.

Again, it was down to a substitute – Bryan Prunty – as he swept the ball past David McGurn in the final minute.

The Kirkcaldy side had taken the lead midway through the first half through Brian Graham, but Dumbarton equalised when Jim Lister broke clear to beat McGurn.

Greig Spence headed Raith back in front, but it was a fragile lead as Prunty was to prove.
