The Sunderland striker marked his league debut with both goals in Saturday's 2-2 draw at Swansea City, taking little time to settle in at his new club after £14m switch from Wolves.
Predictably the former Hibs striker's double led to renewed calls for the 25-year-old and Scotland manager Craig Levein to end their impasse.
