Derek Adams, the Ross County manager, is confident that his side have the momentum in the race to escape the relegation play-off place this season.

The Highland side are just a point above 11th place in the SPFL Premiership table but won last weekend against Kilmarnock.

That resigned the Ayrshire side to spending this week in the play-off spot and Adams is certain that his players have it in them to collect more points away to St Mirren tomorrow.

"St Mirren have won a few games recently but in 2014 we are the form team in the bottom six," he said. "We are the team that has picked up the most points and we have to keep on going and gathering that momentum. We have had good results.

"We've had tough games but the momentum is with us and we're looking to take that into the final three games of the season."
