David Goodwillie has joined Blackpool on loan until the end of the season, with the Scot becoming one of the first players to sign for the club's interim manager Barry Ferguson.

The Blackburn Rovers striker is joined by compatriot Andy Halliday after he agreed a loan move from Middlesbrough.

Goodwillie was linked with a return to Scotland this month,with Aberdeen and St Johnstone among those interested. The 24-year-old spent the first half of the campaign with former club Dundee United.

Halliday - who started his career at Livingston - joins after making just four appearances this season.
