MARK McGHEE, the Scotland assistant manager, has said Leigh Griffiths needs to score 20 goals this season, and then 20 more in the Championship next campaign, to prove he is good enough to play international football.

The 22-year-old, who spent the last two seasons on loan at Hibernian, has finally secured a starting place in the Wolves first team. "He has played his way into the [Scotland] squad, now he has to keep performing in League One to stay there," said McGhee.
