ALEX NEIL insists he has no fears over Norwich City's English Championship play-off hopes after guiding Hamilton Accies to a spectacular success last season.

The former New Douglas Park boss is hoping to win promotion to the Premier League with the Carrow Road side.

But it looks like he will have to get them up via the dreaded play-offs system.

However, that doesn't bother Neil after his sensational win over Hibs last term after being 2-0 down from the first leg at home, only to go to Easter Road, reverse the deficit and win on penalties.

Neil said: "If you talk about the experience of play-offs I have been in a play-off final and won one.

"I'm not sure the other guys we are competing with have.

"I came down here to make sure we were either in the play-offs or if we did really well then we go up automatically.

"We have done the first part well, which is to get ourselves into contention, now we have to pick up as many wins and see where that takes us."
