PAUL HARTLEY, the Dundee manager, has challenged his team to remember how to win again ahead Saturday's visit of Inverness Caledonian Thistle to Dens Park.

Dundee have suffered three straight defeats since securing their place in the top six, the latest coming last Friday night when they went down 5-0 away to Celtic.

It has been a successful return to the top division this season but Hartley does not want what has been a fine campaign to "fizzle out" after all their good work.

Hartley said: "We want to start winning again. The results haven't been all that pleasing in recent weeks so we obviously want to change that.

"We would like to get some wins under our belt but we know it will be tough. Inverness are a very good side and have had a great season.

"They are coming here looking to secure third place in the league but it's our job to try and stop that. We will approach it like we do every game to try and win it.

"Hopefully we can give our fans something to cheer about because they deserve it for the support they have given us all season."

Dundee were on the wrong end of a heavy defeat by Celtic and Hartley believes Inverness coming to Tayside can act as the ideal fixture to get them going again.

He said: "The lads have trained well all week. They were disappointed with certain bits of our last game. But the great thing is we have another game to look forward to against good opposition.

"It should be an open match. They have some talented players and so do we so hopefully this brings out the best in our guys. Nobody likes the season just to fizzle out and we don't.

"We have three games left and if we can get a win in this one it could set us up well for what's after that."

Meanwhile, Greg Stewart returns from suspension to lead the line for Dundee on Saturday. Goalkeper Scott Bain is struggling with a knee injury so could be replaced by Kyle Letheren.
