The goalkeeper has been able to tolerate that frustration given he was playing at Manchester United and at a time when the club picked up the FA Cup four times in just 10 years from 1994. Those were enjoyable to be a part of even if Williams was on the periphery, only getting as close as the stands at the Millennium Stadium as Millwall were beaten in the 2004 final.
