JAMIE MacDONALD: Howler of a mistake to let Inverness score a dramatic winner.

Parried Marley Watkins' effort straight to the feet on Caley substitute James Vincent who had the easiest of tasks to knock the ball over the line. 3

KIERAN DUFFIE: Worked hard and tried to get the ball down and moving on a number of occasions as Falkirk took the game to Inverness in the second period. Struggled at times against Watkins. 6

DAVID McCRACKEN: One tackle in the opening period that was perfectly timed but needlessly dived in to try and stop Watkins as the striker hared towards setting up the second goal. 5

PETER GRANT: Found himself in glorious space to convert Alston's free-kick and level the scores at Hampden. Had one super tackle on cusp of interval to derail Aaron Doran as Inverness looked to double their lead. 7

LUKE LEAHY: Found his path blocked at one stage by referee Willie Collum, much to his and Peter Houston's fury. Had one excellent cross into the box in the final minutes of the game that no-one could connect with. 6

BLAIR ALSTON: Provided the in-swinging free-kick that brought Falkirk an equaliser they had been threatening for the bulk of the second period. Poor free-kick in the dying minutes of the game from the edge of the box that he hit straight into the wall. 6

WILL VAULKS: Looked the most obvious source of a Falkirk goal at one stage as he tried his luck from distance repeatedly. Had one effort that whizzed just past the post and a number of others that asked questions of Inverness. 8

TOM TAIWO: Booked in the second period and struggled to make an impact on proceedings. Never quite managed to make a significant impact, especially in the opening half when Inverness were allowed to dominate midfield. 5

DAVID SMITH: Replaced by Botti Biabi early in the second period as Falkirk sought for a way back into the game. Difficult afternoon for the midfielder who struggled to impose himself on proceedings. 5

CRAIG SIBBALD: Tried hard to link up with Loy and get things moving, a partnership that gathered much more momentum in the second period of the game. Couldn't be faulted for endeavour. 6

RORY LOY: Took his place in the starting line-up following a three-month lay off with a broken leg. Inevitably tired as the game wore on but put in a shift considering he has been on the sidelines for so long. 7

SUBSTITUTES

BOTTI BIABI (63 for Smith): On just after the hour mark and gave Falkirk an impetus that hadn't otherwise displayed. 5

TAYLOR MORGAN (95 for Loy): Not on long enough to be rated
