John Hughes, the Inverness Caledonian Thistle manager, has extended the contracts of full-back Carl Tremarco and midfielder Danny Williams.

Both players are now tied to the Highland club until the summer of 2016.

The news comes as the pair have established themselves in the first team - with their initial contracts due to expire in the summer - and impressed Hughes, who took over as manager last month.

"I've been impressed by the skill and attitude shown by both lads," said Hughes, who has also released striker Torbjorn Agdestein after he failed to command a regular place in the team.

Filip Kiss will likely expect to enjoy greater prominence at Ross County, after the Cardiff City midfielder yesterday completed his loan move for the rest of the season.
