For Mark Brown, the 31-year-old goalkeeper, the fact that survival remains in his club's own hands should be viewed as good reason not to panic.
Pat Fenlon's men have surrendered a four-point lead in the space of a week, as Jim Jefferies has breathed life into Dunfermline's bid for survival with two positive results – his first since his opening game at the club. The scene is now set for a fraught final three games of the season.
