Inverness Caledonian Thistle have contacted the Scottish Professional Football League to complain about the proposed allocation of tickets for their Scottish League Cup final against Aberdeen on March 16.

As it stands, supporters of the Pittodrie side will dominate Celtic Park after being allocated 30,000 seats, with Inverness fans contained in half of the Main Stand and half the Lisbon Lions Stand.

Inverness have resolved to challenge the proposal and called the allocation "unacceptable". A message on the club's Twitter page read: "ICTFC have been in talks with [the SPFL] since seating map was received. These talks are still ongoing. The distribution of seating is unacceptable to us in its current form."
