ALLAN JOHNSTON has warned Kilmarnock's young attacking players that the club's loan signing David Moberg Karlsson will be out to displace them from the team.

The Sunderland winger, bought from IFK Gothenburg for £1.5m and a Swedish under-19 cap, will be at Rugby Park for the rest of the season. The manager has told the likes of Greg Kiltie, Chris Johnston, Robbie Muirhead and Rory McKenzie that Karlsson will have them looking over their shoulders.

Johnston, who could give Karlsson a debut against Ross County today, said: "He gives us different options and puts pressure on the players already in the side to perform."
