ROBBIE KEANE is relishing his first chance to play at Parkhead since his Celtic loan spell for the Republic of Ireland's European Championship qualifying tie against Scotland next month.

Gordon Strachan's side face the Irish on November 14, with Martin O'Neill also returning to the Celtic Park dug-out.

Keane, who scored 12 league goals in 15 starts for Celtic in 2010, said: "It will be nice to go back, I haven't been back since I was a player. Celtic Park for any Irish person is great and I am certainly looking forward to it.

"There is a strong belief in the dressing room that we can go anywhere and get something, whatever minute of the game it is, regardless of who we play, if it's Germany or whoever. We have that belief in the dressing room and it's there for everyone to see.

"Poland drawing with Scotland was a good result for us. Certainly before the games, that's a result you would have been happy with."
