Langfield has earned offer of a new contract

Craig Brown's balancing act of trying to finish the season strongly while attempting to offer first-team opportunities to the younger, untried members of his squad, could come into play at Inverness Caledonian Thistle today.

The Aberdeen manager, while playing his cards close to his chest on the issue of which of his out-of-contract personnel will be invited to remain at Pittodrie, did reveal goalkeeper Jamie Langfield has been offered a new deal.
