Joe Ledley, for one, has heard enough of all the excuses. The Wales midfielder – who will form part of a sizeable Celtic connection in Friday's World Cup qualifying Group A match against Scotland – feels this gener- ation of players are good enough to finally emulate the team who made it to the 1958 World Cup finals.
