Ledley in no rush for talks over new deal

JOE Ledley is still hopeful of thrashing out a deal to stay at Celtic for the long-term, even though three months have passed since he first sat down with the club to talk about an extension, writes Stewart Fisher.

The Welsh midfielder, one of the highest earners on the Parkhead payroll, has been speaking to the club since November about extending his current deal, which expires in the summer of 2014, and he revealed last night that the situation will be revisited at the end of the season.
