Lewis Toshney would consider another loan move

Try telling that to Lewis Toshney.

The Kilmarnock defender is currently on loan from Celtic and has made eight appearances since joining the Rugby Park side in early January. In that short space of time, his current employers have lifted the Scottish Communities League Cup, while his parent club clinched the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.

"I didn't join any of the guys when they were celebrating [winning the cup]. I'll be going back to Celtic at the end of the season, so I didn't want to get involved in any of that," said Toshney, who has 12 months left to run on his contract. "I stayed away from Celtic's title party, too. I was getting texts from the guys, asking me to go out, but I didn't feel like a very big part of it. I thought I would just leave it."I'm hoping to go back to Celtic and push on from there," said the right-back, who will face Inverness Caledonian Thistle this afternoon. "We all know they've got a big squad. Adam Matthews has been brilliant this year. Mikael Lustig has also signed, and they have Cha [Du-Ri] as well. I'll just try my hardest."I hope the experience I've gained can stand me in good stead, but if it doesn't work out, then I might think about going out on loan again."Meanwhile, Terry Butcher yesterday dismissed a report that Jonny Hayes wants to leave Inverness when his contract expires at the end of the season, with Aberdeen, Hibernian and St Johnstone in the hunt for his signature. Hayes, who has scored eight time this term, has reassured the manager that he has not ruled out signing a new deal in the Highlands.Butcher told the club's official website: "Jonny says he's never told anyone that he's definitely leaving Inverness and the report in the paper is totally untrue. He's keeping his options open and he'll sit down when the season is finished and weigh everything up and make up his mind."I've made a very, very good offer to Jonny and he's giving it due consideration. Once the SPL [season] is over, he'll finalise a decision."
