The future of Calum Elliot is still not clear, with both Livingston and Raith Rovers claiming to have signed the striker.

The former believed they had secured his services after the 26-year-old signed a pre-contract on April, only for Raith to announce his move to Fife on Tuesday on a similar deal.

"The player told [Raith] he signed not a contract but 'a blank piece of paper'," said Ged Nixon, the Livingston chief executive.

nBilly Brown has left his post as East Fife manager after the club agreed a takeover. Chairman Sid Collumbine is expected to be depart.
