HAMILTON Academical are the latest club to show an interest in amateur striker Thomas McCluskey, who has already been on trial with Cowdenbeath and Falkirk.

The former St Mirren youth player has been impressing with Strathclyde Saturday Morning League side Blochairn Star and recently spent three weeks training with Falkirk. Jimmy Nicholl, the Cowdenbeath manager, also re-kindled his interest after taking in a recent bounce game between McCluskey's side and Queen's Park at Toryglen.

McCluskey is spending this week at New Douglas Park in the hope of securing a deal with Hamilton for next season.
