McGinn seemed to be Pittodrie-bound until he suffered a knee injury that required minor surgery. That opened the door for Danny Lennon to invite him to train with the Paisley side last month.
Gardner Speirs, the Queen's Park head coach, said: "It is no surprise that Paul has joined an SPL side as he was fantastic for us during his four years here.
