McMillan and Hutton team up in Fife after Ibrox departures

RANGERS may not have brought in a replacement for Nikica Jelavic, or anyone for that matter, but the Ibrox club were hardly idle during the transfer window.

As the Croatian striker agreed a deal with Everton, Jordan McMillan brought an end to his time at Ibrox by signing an 18-month contract with Dunfermline Athletic.

The full-back had been a peripheral presence around the club – having previously been loaned out to Queen of the South and Hamilton Academical – and at 23 years old had likely grown frustrated at his lack of opportunities. He is unlikely to suffer ennui at East End Park, with the club embroiled in a terse battle to stay in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.
