Ian Black scored late on as Rangers continued their North American tour with a 2-1 win over Sacramento Republic.

A Rangers support which numbered more than 1000 attended a match in which the Ibrox side fell behind in first-half injury-time as Carlos Martinez scored for Republic, a team from the third tier of United States football.

With the game being played in the shadow of the California State Fair, Darren McGregor headed in an equaliser just a few minutes after the break when he connected with Lewis Macleod's cross. Black then scored with a neat flick to win the match for Rangers.
