Hearts head coach Robbie Neilson has joined three Scottish Premiership bosses on the PFA Scotland manager of the year shortlist.

Celtic's Ronny Deila, Inverness manager John Hughes and Derek McInnes of Aberdeen make up the four-man list.

Neilson led Hearts to the Scottish Championship title - with a record points tally - in his first season in the role. Hearts have 90 points ahead of their final game of the season against Rangers.

Deila is set to lead Celtic to a double in his first season at the club, going into the final four games of the Scottish Premiership campaign with an eight-point lead over Aberdeen having already won the League Cup.

Deila had targeted the treble but his team were beaten by Inverness in the semi-finals of the William Hill Scottish Cup. Hughes also has Caley Thistle well on course for a top-three finish and their first European qualification before their final against Falkirk.

Aberdeen have already secured their first runners-up spot in the league for 21 years.
