Colin Nish, the Dumbarton striker, has urged his team-mates to forget last weekend's league defeat by Rangers and go all out to interrupt the growing momentum of today's Scottish Cup opponents.

The part-time side suffered a 3-0 loss at home to the Ibrox team in the SPFL Championship seven days ago but had chances to sneak in front before Kenny Miller's first-half strike and second-half goals from Lee Wallace and Kris Boyd. Since then, Rangers have boosted their confidence still further by reaching the semi-finals of the League Cup but Nish remains confident that his side can record an upset.

"I think the first goal will be key again," he said. "If we can take our chances this time and give ourselves something to hold on to then it could be huge in terms of what we're playing for."
