The Scotland international winger pulled few punches after a display during the 2-0 home defeat against Kilmarnock which manager Neil Lennon said afterwards was the worst of his tenure.
"When you are playing for Celtic you need to get some kind of middle ground of what is required in a game, whether it is Camp Nou or Celtic Park," Commons said. "You can't expect to play so well one week and then put in that sort of performance. In the two games we have gone from one extreme to the other.
