Peter Houston insists Dundee United players deserve the credit

Peter Houston insisted his Dundee United players should get full credit for their victory at Ibrox and the result should not be overshadowed by what is going wrong at Rangers.

United knocked the Ibrox side out of the William Hill Scottish Cup yesterday – just as they did after a replay in 2010, when they went on to win the trophy – to take their place in today's quarter-final draw. The result increased the pressure on Rangers and their manager Ally McCoist but Houston said his players had focused only on their own jobs.
