Following the surprise exits of goalkeepers Jamie MacDonald and Mark Ridgers from Hearts last week after the appointment of Robbie Neilson as head coach, the Tynecastle outfit are thought to be keen to recruit a shot-stopper in a dual role.
Former Hearts player Gordon has recently been training with the club as he steps up his bid to comeback from injury following two years out.
But the 40-time capped goalkeeper insists he wants to focus solely on playing. The 31-year-old said: "I've no interest in any coaching job right now. Maybe in a few years time that would be the perfect job but I can say 100% that definitely won't be happening just now.
"I've had a few phone calls from all different levels. I've had teams looking for second-choice keepers, other teams looking for a first choice but who are maybe not at the highest level. It shows there is interest there. Although I don't have any confirmed offers on the table right now, I'm hoping that won't be too far away.
"I've no idea what will happen. Just look what happened [at Hearts]. Nobody saw that coming. It might be quick or it might be into pre-season before I get something sorted. It will depend if there is something that I'm keen on, then I'll jump at it. It needs to be right for me."
