QPR keen on Ki

Tony Fernandes, the Queens Park Rangers chairman, has hinted that they could still make an offer for Celtic's Ki Sung Yueng.

The London club were linked with the midfielder before they signed Ki's South Korea team-mate, Park Ji-Sung, from Manchester United in a £2m transfer.

Fernandes said: "It was clear our target this time was Park and not Ki, but Ki is a very good player and we are very aware of him. He is a player we will be watching and monitoring closely." The 23-year-old, who claimed he would like to play in Spain when he leaves Celtic, is currently back home preparing for the Olympic tournament.
