Raith Rovers announced they will increase the capacity of Stark's Park by 500 before their SPFL Championship campaign next term.
The Fife club will re-open a section of their historic Railway Stand in order to house extra away supporters, who have been previously confined to the Val McDermid Stand.
A club spokesperson confirmed the scheme is "the first phase of bringing the Railway Stand back into use", while other facilities at Stark's Park will be upgraded.
The alterations are likely to pay for themselves with the visits of the Hearts and Rangers supports.
