Hearts crushed Cowdenbeath 10 - 0 in their Championship match today, the biggest win in Scottish senior league football for five decades.
It's the biggest victory recorded since Hibs beat Hamilton Academical 11 - 1 in their Scottish First Division game in 1965/66.
In recent times, the 9 - o game between Celtic and Aberdeen in 2010 at Celtic Park was another huge win.
Historically, the largest margin of all time came when Arbroath thrashed Bon Accord 36-0 during the Scottish Cup in 1885.
Today's win at Tynecastle now means there's a 20-point different between Hearts and Hibs, and 24 point difference between Hearts and Rangers in the race for promotion in the Championship.
Dutch striker Genero Zeefuik hit a four-minute first-half hat-trick and Billy King crashed a shot against the crossbar early on before three quickfire strikes saw Hearts take control, with Zeefuik opening the scoring in the 26th minute from the penalty spot after Nathaniel Wedderburn was penalised for handball.
He then added a second with a low shot past Blue Brazil goalkeeper Robbie Thomson before claiming the match ball two minutes later with another penalty after Lewis Toshney was sent off for a poor foul on Sam Nicholson.
Zeefuik's treble came in the space of three minutes and 36 seconds and took his tally to eight goals in seven games since signing on loan from FC Groningen.
It was 4-0 in the 33rd minute after Nicholson fired into the roof of the net from 20 yards and then he teed up Jamie Walker for another six minutes before the break.
Hearts added a sixth in the 57th minute with their third penalty of the game after Thomas O'Brien upended Morgaro Gomis, who chipped the spot-kick down the middle.
A stunning strike from Alim Ozturk four minutes later made it seven, drilling a shot into the bottom corner from 25 yards, and Danny Wilson tucked home in off the post in the 68th minute.
Substitute Osman Sow slammed in a ninth with 20 minutes left and four minutes later ensured double figures with another effort into the bottom corner.
