WITH all that Inverness Caledonian Thistle have on their plate right now, the news that a player has agreed a new two-year contract extension seemed a little bland.

The decision by Gary Warren to extend his stay until at least the summer of 2015 was delivered with plenty of gusto, sure – he is one of only a few players out of contract at the end of the season to take the step so far – but it still paled in light of Inverness's continued ambitions to secure a top-three place in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League and qualify for a place in Europe.
