The Scots have lost their last two matches - against England and Belgium - but there has still been a sense of improvement under Gordon Strachan. That was most evident in the victory over Croatia in June and Mulgrew is optimistic about the future.
"We're definitely making progress," said the defender. "As much as we've not had great results, apart from Croatia, we can take a lot of positives and we're definitely moving in the right direction. I think we'll be okay."
