ALLAN McGREGOR - Acrobatic early save denied Taijo Teniste from long range and was quickly off his line to block from Tarmo Kink. 7/10.
ALAN HUTTON - The right-back combined well with Chris Burke in the first half and maintained his attacking presence after the break.7.
CHARLIE MULGREW - Marked his fifth Scotland cap with his first international goal - a well-taken strike following a clever free-kick. The left-back was never exposed at the other end and also saw a 20-yard strike well-saved. 8.
CHRISTOPHE BERRA - Positive defensive display from the Wolves centre-back. 7.
ANDY WEBSTER - Assured and well-organised performance from the Hearts defender. 7.
CHARLIE ADAM - Disguised free-kick set up Mulgrew for the opener and produced a disciplined midfield display. 6.
SCOTT BROWN - Captaining Scotland for the first time in his 30th international, Brown harassed and harried the opposition to help his team-mates. 6.
CHRIS BURKE (above) - A major plus point for new manager Gordon Strachan following a near seven-year absence from international football. The Birmingham winger took players on, delivered some excellent crosses and proved a constant menace to the Estonians on the right flank during his 45 minutes. 8.
SHAUN MALONEY - The Wigan player looked lively in a central role in Strachan's first-half 4-2-3-1 formation before making way at the break. 7.
STEVEN NAISMITH - Came close from long range and got involved well without making a telling contribution. 6.
STEVEN FLETCHER - Was close with an early header and showed some good touches in the first quarter but a generally quiet evening for the Sunderland striker.6 .
SUBSTITUTES
JORDAN RHODES (for Maloney, 45) - Almost netted with a dipping volley from 20 yards but snatched at a late chance. 5.
ROBERT SNODGRASS (for Burke, 45) - The worsening pitch did not suit the Norwich winger's desire to run with the ball but he had some promising moments. 6.
JAMES McARTHUR (for Adam, 62) - Looked convincing in central midfield. 6.
JAMES MORRISON (for Brown, 62) - Playing a deeper role than many of his previous internationals, the West Brom midfielder played some positive forward passes. 6.
KENNY MILLER (for Fletcher, 67) - The 33-year-old was busy when he came on but his touches did not always come off. 5.
KRIS COMMONS (for Naismith, 75) - Did not get many chances to shine in his brief appearance and sent one shot well over the bar. 5.
