Second Division

Queen of the South remain three points clear at the top of the Second Division following a narrow 1-0 win over Alloa Athletic at Palmerston Park.

Visiting goalkeeper Scott Bain was beaten as Nicky Clark pounced to net a 67th minute winner.

In hot pursuit of the leaders are Forfar Athletic who enjoyed a 4-2 win against Albion Rovers thanks, in the main, to a Ross Campbell hat-trick.
