NIGEL CLOUGH insists he will continue to scout north of the border after increasing his colony of Scots to seven at Sheffield United with the signing of Livingston's Marc McNulty.

The Yorkshire side bought the 21-year-old after he had an excellent campaign at Almondvale, and Clough admitted that he believes there is value for money north of the border. "We've always maintained that Scotland is a good market for us because, given the money situation, young players are given an opportunity quickly," he said.

"It's not an easy level to score goals at because it's tough football and physically the youngsters can get battered a bit."
