Sinclair makes move to Iceland

DAVID SINCLAIR, the former Ayr United and Livingston midfielder, has teamed up with former Scotland midfielder Nigel Quashie at Icelandic side Bi/Bolungarvik.

Sinclair, 23, was available on a free transfer after spending the first half of the season at SPFL League 1 strugglers Airdrieonians, making 18 appearances. And he has now made the shock decision to head for Scandinavia, signing a one-year deal with the second-tier side.

He will be joined at the heart of the Bi/Bolungarvik midfield by the 35-year-old Quashie, who has played and coached in Iceland since joining Iprottafelag Reykjavikur in 2012.
