Queen of the South kept up their challenge on the top two with a 3-0 win over Falkirk.

Andy Dowie broke the deadlock with a header seven minutes from half-time after he was left unguarded at an Ian McShane corner.

Before Falkirk had time to recover, Gavin Reilly made it 2-0 before half-time after good work from John Baird.

Baird then set up the third with a cutback which was driven home by Mark Kerr.

Cowdenbeath moved off the bottom for the first time this season with a hard-earned 3-2 win over Alloa at Recreation Park. Kudus Oyenuga gave Cowdenbeath the lead 11 minutes before Liam Buchanan found the net against his former club after 59 minutes to pull Alloa level.

But a minute later Calum Gallagher galloped clear to set up Oyenuga for his second goal. Gallagher then extended Cowdenbeath's advantage before Greig Spence pulled a goal back.
