Morton inflicted a painful defeat on Dunfermline Athletic, on-loan Declan McManus scoring three minutes into injury-time to give them a 2-1 win at East End Park.

Dunfermline went ahead just after the break through Faissal El Bakhtaoui. Tom O'Ware headed an equaliser after 79 minutes before McManus got the winner.

League leaders Forfar came from behind to earn a point in a 1-1 draw against Stranraer. Sean Winter put Stranraer in front in the first minute but Forfar levelled before the break through Dale Hilson.

Brechin City enjoyed a comfortable 2-0 win over Ayr United at Somerset Park to maintain their challenge.

Robert Thomson gave Brechin the lead after eight minutes and Kyle McAusland doubled it before half-time.

Rory McAllister stung Stenhousemuir with a double for Peterhead in a 2-1 win at Ochilview. Stenhousemuir drew first blood early in the second half but McCallister scored from open play and then the spot.

Bottom clubs Stirling Albion and Airdrieonians drew 2-2 at Forthbank.
