Runaway League Two leaders Arbroath enjoyed a 5-1 Angus derby win at Montrose, who for the second week in a row had their 'keeper sent off.
Abroath were already 3-1 up before Lucas Birnstingl's 86th-minute dismissal resulted in a penalty converted by Paul McManus, who scored again in stoppage time.
Second-placed Queen's Park remain eight points behind Arbroth after a 3-0 win over East Fife at the Excelsior Stadium.
Albion Rovers earned breathing space in third spot with a 2-1 success against Berwick Rangers at Cliftonhill.
Player-manager Darren Young got a long-range opener in the 47th minute. Darren Lavery headed Berwick level but John Gemmell struck a 77th minute free-kick winner.
Annan Athletic clung on for a 4-3 win against East Stirling in a thriller at Galabank. Two from Peter Weatherson, and one each from David Hopkirk and Matt Flynn negated efforts by Neil McCabe, David McKenna and Paul Brennan.
Clyde move up to sixth after a Kevin Watt double gave them a 2-1 victory over Elgin City at Broadwood.
