Dunfermline Athletic lead a three-way tie at the top after a 2-0 home win over Stenhousemuir.

Michael Moffat hit the bar in the first half but early in the second Ryan Thomson headed in a Josh Falkingham corner.

Visiting substitute Colin McMenamin picked up a second yellow card for handball before Moffat made sure of the points with a late penalty after Ryan Williamson had been tripped.

Ayr United suffered their first league defeat when they went down 2-0 at home to Stranraer. Grant Gallacher broke the deadlock midway through the second half and Jamie Longworth added their second.
