ST MIRREN are closing in on a move for Manchester City's Adam Drury The 20 year-old, who can play either at full-back or as a winger, would become the second City player to join Tommy Craig's squad on loan following the arrival of defender Ellis Plummer who made an impressive competitive debut in Saturday's 1-0 loss to Motherwell at Fir Park.

Drury has been on the books at the Etihad for seven years and turned professional in 2011 but is yet to make a competitive appearance for the first-team. He spent a chunk of the 2012/13 season on loan at League Two Burton Albion then was a regular fixture in Partick Vieira's City reserve side last season, scoring twice from 27 appearances.
