Graham Stack, the goalkeeper released by Hibernian, has been on trial with Preston North End and will this week train with Watford, but he has added his name to the list of players willing to play in the third division with Rangers newco.

The 30-year-old has been linked with Rangers, who have lost Allan McGregor and Grant Adam from their goalkeeping roster. Neil Alexander started their first game, at Brechin yesterday.

He said: "I've not had any discussions with anyone there, but Rangers are a massive club and, of course, I would be interested in speaking to them. I've played in Scotland for three years and I'm keen to stay up here, so Rangers would be a fantastic option for someone like me.

"I'm not saying it's an option at the moment, but a club like that, and being there at the start to help them rebuild, would certainly be of interest to me, even if they are going to be playing in the third division this season."
