Derek Adams, the Ross County manager, yesterday acknowledged the "culture shock" experienced by many of his summer signings.

The Dingwall club added 10 new players during the close season, with the side still to win a league match.

Adams' side face Dundee United tomorrow and the manager is aware that some of the members of his squad are still finding their feet in Scottish football.

"The players we've brought in are new to Scottish football and they're young as well," said Adams, who released Dutch midfielder Marc Klok yesterday. "It is a culture shock, because this league is a totally different ball game to what they've been used to."
