Sutton still willing to play part in long-running Hearts drama

THE magical mystery tour that has been John Sutton's career over the last two years has been an unforgiving and arduous journey, with the latest unwelcome turn in its long and winding road failing to offer much comfort to the Hearts striker.

After the Tynecastle club's 2-1 defeat by Motherwell, the forlorn 29-year-old ambled into the Tynecastle media room before slouching wearily in a seat. His tie hung at half-mast, his expression struggling to hide the strain of events over the last few days during which John McGlynn became the latest manager to be sacrificed by the board, with former Hearts striker John Robertson throwing his hat in to the ring to be next.
