With an ironic sense of timing, Alloa will host their first league game against Rangers since December 1922 in a newly renamed ground on the back of a six-figure investment.

Reports emerged a fortnight ago that the naming rights to the Glasgow club's Ibrox ground had been sold to Sports Direct owner Mike Ashley for just £1 and on Saturday they will be the first visitors to The Indodrill Stadium.

John Horne, who is the group managing director of the Indodrill Group from Singapore, will officially launch the new name for Alloa's 119-year-old Recreation Park ground ahead of kick off after a 10-year deal was agreed.

"It is a further step in the journey we are on to ensure Alloa's long term success both on and off the park," said Mike Mulraney, the Alloa chairman.
