Montrose's teenage striker Martin Boyle netted four goals in the impressive 5-1 thrashing of struggling Annan Athletic at Links Park.
Boyle, who recently returned to Montrose on loan from Dundee, fired the hosts into an 11th-minute lead and quickly added a second before Jamie Winter's penalty gave them a three-goal advantage.
The forward completed his hat-trick in the 35th minute and notched his fourth two minutes after half-time, while Ali Love's 81st-minute strike for Annan did little to ease a painful and long homeward journey.
