Robert Snodgrass has emerged as a £5m target for Hull City.

The Scotland midfielder was a prominent member of the Norwich City side which was relegated from the Barclays Premier League this season and Hull are expected to offer him a route back into the top flight.

The 26-year-old has only one year left on his contract which could convince Norwich to sell. West Ham United and Newcastle United have also expressed an interest in the midfielder.

"In terms of Snoddy, I would be surprised if no-one came in for him," said Russell Martin, a team-mate of Snodgrass at both Norwich and Scotland. "I'm sure there will be Premier League clubs who want some of our players. Some of them have shown they can do a job at that level for the past two or three years."
